The steps we have followed to build up this part of the blog are as follows.
We have translated into English each and every phrase related to Greek mythology; then, we have tried to describe the actual myth that inspired it and how it is used in Spanish language. Last, but not least, we have traced its real use in newspaper articles.
In order to further exemplify how deep mythology is ingrained in our culture, we have also illustrated all expressions and phrases by means of paintings and sculptures belonging to all periods of art history.
To show how common the use of these phrases is in our language, we have made a film, where you can see the phrases in use.
